senior announcements take 1

You know, you just can't go wrong with zebra print.  I think I'll start calling these invitations sassy.  They are not your normal, run of the mill invitations by far.  Lakean couldn't decide between two different styles so we're doing half one design and half the other.  I'll post the other design on here later...if I don't go to bed.
I do have other designs available if these aren't your taste.  Please just ask and I will be more than happy to come up with what you want.

introducing sophiemac photography logo!!!

I've only waited since November for my logo and I think it was well worth it.  Thank you to Crystal at preshwebdesign for making my logo come to life and doing it so quickly! If you are in need of something for your blog or website, go check her work out.  She's great!
Be looking for more changes to come very soon.  I've been waiting on the logo to get them all started so here we go!  I'm so excited.

not too late for prom pictures

I still have 3:30 to 4:30 available for prom pictures in the old city.  I also can do a 6:15 if anyone wants to be fashionably late.  We'll just be less than 5 minutes away from the prom venue so that's something to think about.  Please get in contact with me by email at bethanyandrob@comcast.net or give me a call at 423.494.9065 if you are interested.  Again, here are my prom specials:
2 - 8x10's
2 - 5x7's
8 - 4x6's
16 wallets
$65.00
A 15.00 sitting fee will apply for the short sessions.  I'll see you guys saturday!

Great news

We went for the results of the body scan today and THANK YOU JESUS no cancer.  Thank you everybody who was praying for my daddy.  Please continue to keep him in your prayers because with Merkel Cell Carcinoma, there's a very high percentage that it will come back.  However, I'm believing in his healing and claiming victory over his life.  Thank you guys for being there and covering us in prayer.

With love,
Bethany

from here to Oneida

I wanna give a big shout out to everyone up the Big South Fork way.  I'm looking for interested clients up towards your end.  I am giving 50% off to the first three people who get in contact with me.  50% includes family, senior, prom, baby, maternity, engagements, wedding....everything!  Crazy I know, but I'm wanting to open up and expand so here's your chance to take advantage of a great opportunity.  If you're interested, please email me at bethanyandrob@comcast.net, send me a new client inquiry on my website www.sophiemacphotography.com or give me a call at 423.494.9065.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Bethany

kasi and jason e.session

Kasi and Jason are getting hitched in June.  I can't wait until their wedding because I love everyone in her bridal party!  It's going to be a blast.  We shot this past wednesday.  I don't know if you remember the weather or not, but it was FREEZING!  Kasi looked so cute and summery in that little white dress, but I had to edit out some chill bumps.  It will be warmer in June.  I hope you enjoy your pictures.

Lakean senior pics

I am making Lakean's senior announcements and I thought that it would be fun to grab a few more pictures for them.  She really wanted downtown and the old city so here's what we came up with.  I will be posting the announcements very soon.
Lakean, I had a blast saturday.  I love you sis. Hope you like them!
-p.s., looking skinny chickie

a quick update

Daddy went for a body scan this morning.  We will not know anything until hopefully tuesday.  However, because of the aggressiveness of the cancer, they are going to give him chemo or radiation depending on the spot taken off his nose.  I'm assuming that they will start that tuesday as well.
I'd like to share something that someone sent me.  It has really helped me grab hold of a new faith during all of this and maybe it will help someone else.  It's simple but true!  "God is in charge, not the cancer".  Thank you whoever you are.  Please keep the prayers coming. I'm so blessed to have such great friends.  Thank you.

...everybody's crazy bout a sharp dressed man...

Get ready world because here comes Zack, the lawyer.  I just thought I'd give a sneak peak a couple of years early.  Please note that Zack is already taking clients for the year 2013.

My fav

alex and braxton

I recently took some pictures of Melissa and her boys in the Old City and downtown.  Such a fun little family! Here's  few from the shoot.

{my daddy}

This is my daddy.  I snook this picture last fall when we went up to Big South Fork and road the train.  He's not a picture person but I love this picture of him.
He's going tomorrow (wednesday) for a bone scan to see if the cancer has spread.  Please believe with me that it is gone.  This easter, the resounding theme seemed to repeat hope.  So that's what I'm standing on - hope.  Hope that the cancer is gone.  Hope that the merkel cell carcinoma will not come back.  Hope that he will be with me and my babies for a long, long time.  I am a strong person, especially in my faith so I am clinging to God and His promises.
For those of you who have told me that he is in your prayers, you will never know what that means.  Just knowing that there are people standing in the gap for us is immeasurable. Please, don't relent.  Keep the prayers coming.
I will keep everyone posted on his progress.  I love all of you.  Thank you for caring so much.

easter family style

Easter is a huge ordeal with my family.  We have a huge family of 50+ so imagine the easter egg hunt...with 250 eggs filled with dollar bills.  Let's just say that there's more than the little kids hunting these eggs.

I think Sophia got a little carried away, don't you?

Counting some of the money and eggs.

Sophia and her best bud/cousin Bailey.

Mac sporting the polkadaisies shirt.  He was non stop yesterday!

Aw...my little sailor boy. That's the only way I could get him to be still.  I had to ask him how old he was.

Sophia had bigger and better things to be doing.

A custom egg.  It got dropped about 3 seconds after this was taken.
