Big announcements!!!! Oh yeah, huge!!!

Which one do I start with?  HMMmmm...... I guess I'll go with my biggest news first. No, I'm not pregnant, but I do have a studio.  Well, I'll have it some time this month!  I'm so excited!!! I can't wait!  I'll keep you updated on the progress.  And the second announcement, I'm booking dates for fall pictures now.  I already have people wanting those colorful leaves and warmer clothes captured on camera.  I'm ready for fall too!  Bring it on.  I've already put Sophia in her Vol's cheerleading uniform.  That alone means it's fall time in Tennessee.  And announcement number three.  I have Christmas cards.  If you already have had your pictures made, let's get them into a holiday card.  If you haven't, what are you waiting for?  Let's get those cards ready.  You can order them in orders of 12.
Whew!  Big, crazy stuff going on around here. Keep checking back!

It's raining it's pouring!

Every kid has something that they get attached to.  As you can see for Jed, it's the beautiful blue rain boots that are in almost every picture.  His mom was about to die, but I thought it was hilarious!  Hannah was such a big girl and helped me wrangle him back in when he got distracted.  Thanks for your help Hannah!

Lakean's senior pictures.....take II

Lakean was the first person to trust me with taking her pictures.  I've learned some new things since that first photo shoot and I wanted to take some more pictures and repay the favor.  As you can see, it's not that hard to get great looking pictures from her.  I still have a few crazy ideas if I can talk her into one more photo shoot.  That's the great thing about Lakean - she's always up for anything.  Keep checking back for Lakean - take III!

This one is my new favorite!! I love the sun peeking through and her reflection in the bus.

pedicoats

I had the chance to work with the birthday princess Bailey.  She just had her 3rd birthday celebration.  She thought she looked beautiful in her pedicoat...and she did.  By the end of the photo shoot, she had gathered a crowd of admirers.  Happy Birthday Bailey!

Yeah, that's right.  Read the sign!

Holden will never be the same

The title should be what happens in Holden, stays in Holden.  We were blessed to be able to take vacation with two of our favorite families and get to know one more family very well.  We were overtaken by children on this trip.  Let me just set the picture for you.  One beach house, four bedrooms, four families, nineteen people, and a messed up air conditioner all set to the theme song Hey Freddy, Hey Victor. Don't feel bad if you don't know what song I'm talking about.  I didn't know it until the trip.  Google it.  It's worth the time :) Warning! This tune will be forever engrained in your brain and never go away.

This is a picture of the Owen's family.  As you can tell, pink is the theme color.  But don't overlook the splash of blue.  If you look close enough, you may see that there's hair on some of those toes.  Roger just wanted to be a team player for this picture.  I think this is one of those instances that should have been left in Holden.  Thank goodness I had the camera handy. Thanks Roger.

I just can't help but sing the song I hope you dance when I look at this picture. I know a mommy wrote that song!

Shy but not really

This family is one of my favorites!  I love them so much.  They live in Florida and I miss them so bad.  I didn't have a lot of time to take pictures while they were in because we spent most of our time catching up and playing with the each other's new additions - Mac and Aaron.   I love you guys.  You are as beautiful inside as you are outside!

Hello world, I'm Aaron!

Pigmi goats and a monster jeep

That's all that was on Jake's mind Thursday - Pigmi goats and monster jeeps. I'll put some pictures on here of the goats and jeep later just for Jake. I had such a blast taking these pictures. I couldn't decide so I put a few on here. It was just really hard to choose. A special thanks goes out to Brian for being such a good sport. Thanks Brian :)

What a little handsome cutie!

The camera loves you Brian

My girls

This is Hannah. She's my neice and I think I captured her true, fun self in this picture with Sophia. Life is always fun when Hannah's around.

Such a serious look, but gorgeous.

My baby girl.
