Merry Christmas from sophiemac photography

May you have a wonderful Christmas filled with family, friends, and remembrance of our Lord and Savior. Without Him, we would truly be nothing.
Last year, I lost two members of my family. So please believe me when I say slow down and enjoy every minute because it will be a memory you can hold on to forever. Merry Christmas from my family to yours.
With love,
Bethany, Robert, Sophia, and Mac

my baby boy...{big sigh}

It seems like I never EVER take pictures of Mac so I wanted to put two pictures up of him that I snuck in between a session in the Old City. It was so cold that he was shaking and sticking his hands under my coat.
I really mean it when I say this is my favorite picture. Of course I'm not at all bias!

Cards for the Carroll family

Here's a sneak peak of The Carroll's Christmas cards.

Christmas cards for my momma

When I do things for my family, I always like going over the top. However, my mom isn't an over the top kind of gal. I tried every way that I could to get her to go with these big beautiful Christmas cards but all she wanted was the front...no back. But that's ok because when momma's happy, we're all happy. I love you mom...and your cards.

Christmas a little different

Daniel and Amber are not your run of the mill people and their Christmas Cards are certainly not your go with the grain cards but I love them so much (the cards and the people)! So girly and eclectic...sorry Daniel.

Christmas cards!

I love making Christmas Cards. I get cracked up because it's amazing how one thing can make me go crazy and push me over the edge and also put me in such a Christmas mood.

Meet sweet baby A

Meet baby A. I swear I get to take pictures of the cutest babies EVER! I think I have some new favorites and here's a few.

Can you tell Daddy is a boxer?

My all time favorite shot EVER!

Mr. A wasn't a happy baby at all. It was so hard to get a grin. Can you tell?

There's something about this picture. It's like he's speaking without words.

little miss baby H...does that stand for Ho Ho Ho?

Where has time gone to? Is it really Christmas time already? It sure didn't feel like it the day we met for Baby H's pictures. It was such a pretty sunny day. Oh well. I think those days are gone for a while but little Miss Sunshine will warm us up a little bit. Here's a few pictures from her session. Momma wanted some good pictures for Christmas cards. Enjoy!

Mr. R's 9 month session, take 1

Ok, little man usually cooperates during his session but for some reason, he just wasn't feelin' his 9 month session. I know, I know... you say! Just look at the first picture! But please scroll down and take a walk through the time line of Mr. R's 9 month session.
Stay tuned for a follow up 9 month session. Hey, when you're hot, you're hot and when you're not, you're not! We'll get it though!

...a few christmas card styles...

Here are a few Christmas cards I will be offering this season. I will be posting five more styles very soon.

brooke cchs senior session

I thought we'd never get to do Brooke's session. Every time her session time rolled around, bad weather would pop up. We finally lucked up and landed on a day with no rain. However, it was freezing! Such a trooper. Thanks for waiting patiently and freezing your hiney off to get some pictures. Enjoy!

Pure randomness! How crazy was it to walk up on a desk sitting out on the sidewalk!

Lawson family

I've known Amanda for many years. We go way back into the chorus days :) I'm not into the business of asking people to do their pictures. But I did ask Amanda if I could bless her and her family with a picture session. You see, Ben, her husband was born with a congenital heart defect. During the time of these pictures, he was on the heart transplant list. Things were not looking too good for him and I wanted Amanda and her children to have the ability to freeze time and have something to hold on to. However, God has totally moved in Ben's life and things are looking so much better now. Ben has actually started a ministry talking about his life and his healing.
I love you guys and you all are such a rock. Thank you for boosting my faith. If you are interested in hearing more about Ben's story, please shoot me an email and I will get you in touch with Amanda or Ben.

Kenzie CCHS senior

Ok, this gal is a saint. She's the picture in the dictionary under patient. She's also a great photographer. Hm...maybe that's why she's so understanding. Anyway, thanks Kenzie for being such a trooper. I promise you won't have to wait much longer. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Here's a sneak peek. I hope you enjoy them.

This is one of my new favorites.

I love catching people laugh. It's like a little happy pill.
